We currently use Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to evaluate strength and stability of a large variety of naval and marine structures. We provide consulting services for the design of the entire ship hull girder or just local portions of it.
We have developed a significant experience in performing strength and stability analyses of submarine pressure hulls in accordance with the main Classification Societies (ABS, DNV, RINA).

Our areas of expertise include:
-
Dynamic characterization of the structure through accurate modal and harmonic analyses. Prediction of all forms of frequency response function of the supporting structure in the low-medium frequency range, namely dynamic stiffness, mobility, impedance, inertance, etc. Prediction validation through modal testing techniques.

|
-
High and low cycle fatigue analysis. Evaluation of fatigue damage and residual fatigue life due to random vibration. We can calculate fatigue crack initiation life and perform subsequent fracture mechanics analysis to determine crack progression.
|
|
-
Response spectrum analysis as an alternative way of evaluating shock strength and maximum deflections of complex structures subject to shock load or earthquake acceleration.
